============Coronavirus – local and nationwide information================= 

Aberdeen City Council crisis support line: The Council has a free crisis support line for those hardest hit, who are unable to find online support. The number is 0800 0304 713 and is available 24hours a day, 7 days a week.

National Coronavirus helpline to provide help and advice to Scots who are at high risk from contracting coronavirus and do not have a support network at home. The service is aimed at people who are older, disabled, are pregnant, or who receive a flu jab for health reasons and will connect callers to local services that can help provide essential food and medication, emotional support, links to volunteer groups, and social work services for vulnerable children and adults. The number is 0800 111 4000 and will initially operate between 9am and 5pm, with plans being developed to extend its hours.

Scottish Government advice for unpaid carers

Disability Rights UK – including coronavirus updates in BSL. Note also that Aberdeen Action on Disability are offering to fix/service laptops, mobiles etc. free of charge in order to enable the most vulnerable to stay connected (if replacement parts are needed, they would have to be paid for, but all labour is free). Scottish Business Support Line – Scottish Government helpline providing businesses across Scotland with advice and guidance on COVID-19.

SafeLives, the UK-wide charity dedicated to ending domestic abuse. Emergency support is available from Aberdeen Cyrenians through 0808 1964422

Grampian Coronavirus Assistance Hub – a focal point for information and assistance for anyone affected by coronavirus anywhere in Grampian. For requesting help and also volunteering to help.
